Tungag, also known as Dang, Lavangai, Lavongai, Toangai or Tungak is a language of papua New Guinea spoken by over 30,000 people in New Ireland province with concentration in Lamet district, New Hanover, Tingwon, and Umbukul islands.
Almost 99% of their population identify as Christian.
The Tungag New Testament Bible was published in 1999.
